Jen Mitchell is the daughter of a prominent Hoosier photographer & artist, Shorty & Dorothy Roberts and the wife of photojournalist Steve Mitchell. As an Indiana University Telecommunications graduate, Jen utilized her creative marketing skills in the fields of video production and video duplication services from 1985-1997. 
For nearly a decade, Jen maintained a successful sales & marketing career with the Hollywood legend Technicolor, marketing video duplication and CD replication services nationwide. Departing the corporate world in 1997, Jen founded Jazmine Productions to develop and market CD Notecards, the greeting card that sings and speaks. Shortly thereafter, she married her friend and business partner Steve Mitchell and entered the parenting business with an inventory of two highly-desired sons.
Following her passion for music, Jen co-founded Musicpix with her husband Steve in 2003. As a music journalist, Jen (Gwyn Tyme) has written hundreds of artist features, concert reviews and artist interviews for www.musicpix.net, an online & mobile music magazine. Needing multiple creative outlets, Jen formed Lilac Media in 2007 to serve her network of clients; providing creative solutions to business challenges.
As a music lover and passionate advocate promoting the mental and physical well being of children, Jen combines her love of words, music and kids to write and produce children’s books and companion soundtracks. 7 Meridian is the home for Jen's right brain.
To feed her need to feed her inner child, Jen has also been a substitute teacher in the Indianapolis Public School system and is a music educator; teaching preschool music as well as private music instruction.
In effort to celebrate the end-of-the-world as we know it, Jen adds a new ADventure in 2012 to promote Clueberry World, a book and empowerment movement for children & adults created by Chrissy Harmon, M.Ed. Ms. Harmon, a ridiculously creative feminine energy, who understands that the mind is THE master-controller and that THOUGHTS are IN FACT THINGS.
